    Given the demise of many economies one of the major fears surely has to be when buying off plan that th developer/promotor does actually deliver what you have paid for and not dissappear with your hard earned cash.

    Hi Sian,

    Following the recent coverage in the Times of developers going bust and shoddy developers on TV, I’m not surprised to see the ‘The legal side of everything’ is the main worry. Expert legal advice is a must and was the clear message from both the article and programme.

    With regards the home being empty, comprehensive holiday home insurance should cover this.
