Nicky Haslam might not be a name you’re familiar with – well, not unless you’re a rock star, a royal, an A-list celebrity or a very well connected socialite.

But when the likes of Rod Stewart, Brian Ferry, Paris Hilton or the Windsors need the services of an interior designer, Haslam is often at the top of their wish list.

His work regularly appears in glossy design magazines and his style is probably best summed up by the title of his book: Sheer Opulence: Modern Glamour for Today’s Interiors.
